Michael Pluta graduated from West Rutland High School in Vermont. Upon completion of high school he decided to further his education by attending the University of Vermont and other higher institutions of learning. Mr. Pluta earned a Bachelor of Science in History and Education as well as a Masters of Public Administration. He was honored as the
The American Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association and the Vermont Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association 2015 Teacher of the Year. In 2014 he was awarded with the Vermont Driver and Traffic Safety Education Association Southwest Regional Teacher of the Year and was the recipient of the Townsend Award in 2011. His hobbies and interest include community politics, historical research, hunting, and Tenkara fly fishing. He enjoys the academics as well as the Vermont lifestyle.
