The 11 board members of the Mill River Unified Union School District are elected to serve three-year terms by the members of their community. They are surrogates for the community voice and advocates for students and the school district. They come from a variety of backgrounds and bring their experience and knowledge to their roles in order to meet the number one goal of our schools – providing the best opportunities for our students. The board reviews and approves the vision and goals for the district, adopts and monitors the annual budget, hires and evaluates the superintendent and creates and introduces policies that further the goals and potential of the district, schools and students.
